| When Fine Living, a new cable Network from Scripps Networks, wanted to celebrate entering the New York market on Time Warner Cable, they went all the way.
Not only did they want to have an evening Gala in the style of Fine Living, but in order to attract positive trade and consumer press, two NYC river barges were tied together and transformed into a Caribbean Island. All week long, The Island Paradise could be found floating in the middle of the Hudson... complete with its two inhabitants and their dog.
After the Island was dragged around Manhattan to the East River, we created the very unique corporate event at The Water Club. Aiming for more than just a pretty party, we also wanted the event to draw attention to the mood of the Network and its programming. In addition to fine food and drink, we added an oxygen bar, a Vodka and Martini tasting, an aromatherapy bar and other attractions
